Welcome back to The Shoppes, where the retail experience has been redesigned to reduce physical contact and ensure peace of mind. This includes:

SafeEntry: Temperature screening and mandatory digital check-in via the IR’s proprietary entry system (MBS SafeEntry) that incorporates both its loyalty membership requirements (Sands Rewards) as well as the national digital check-in system for contact tracing, across individual retail outlets.

Safe distancing: Floor markings and clear demarcations will manage queues in fitting rooms, cashiers, retail concierge counters, and outside each retail outlet. Queue markers have also been placed at common area where queues may form (e.g. lift lobbies and toilet entrances).

Enhanced hygiene protocol: Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection of common spaces, high-touch surfaces and interactive components such as digital screens, lifts, and loaned equipment such as wheelchairs and strollers. Hand sanitisers are readily available for staff and guests.

Enhanced protection: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including masks is provided to Team Members, to be worn at all times. Hand sanitiser and surgical masks are available for customers at Retail Concierge counters.

Minimising contact: Retail outlets are removing product testers and samples that require customer contact. Retailers are encouraged to offer electronic and contactless payment where possible.
